“H4L not only has brought a new group of friends to our family but they are family to us. When I get to be there the guests that are served hold a special place in my heart and the volunteers they are 10plus.”
~Sandra
“H4L was the very first church service we went to when we moved to Tyler a year ago. We found our people. The sense of love and community we found there drew us in. I have told my husband many times, this is what Jesus meant by the church.”
~Mary Ann
“Volunteering with Hunger For Love is one of the biggest blessings in my life. Every single week I am just in awe of what God is doing through this ministry. There is no place I’d rather be on a Saturday morning!”
~Meg
“I first came across Hunger For Love in 2017 when I was homeless, hopeless, addicted, and on top of all that facing 5-99 yrs in prison... Here it is more than 8 years later, I'm clean, employed, and have a home...What a privilege that I get to serve those I have been closely acquainted with. This ministry is definitely a work of God and its volunteers are simply the body of Christ! It's all for his glory!”
~Christopher
What We Do
Saturday Morning Serve
Every Saturday morning, Hunger For Love gathers under the Gentry Parkway bridge in Tyler to serve meals, offer clothing and toiletries, and share the hope of Jesus through worship and the Word. Join us in building community and meeting both physical and spiritual needs.

Christmas Under the Bridge
On the third Saturday of December, the bridge becomes a place of joy and celebration. Families gather for games, music, warm treats, and Santa’s Toy Tent, where hundreds of children receive gifts. This special night shines light and love during the holiday season.

Who We Are
Hunger For Love meets weekly to serve the homeless and under-resourced community in Tyler, Texas. We provide food for the nourishment of the body, as well as much needed food for the spirit by means of worship music and a message of the hope found in Jesus. We also meet various needs that arise and connect those we serve to local resources.
